Whenever I am in the area, I love wondering the tracks in this area, their is so much to look at, you can walk almost into the centre of Marlo or to a big swamp or to the Snowy River Estuary walking track. At night this area abounds with frogs and possums.
Half the fun will be deciding which track to access the cache with. You have about 6 options.
The main trees you are looking at are Mahagony Gums, Banksias and black wattles. Lots or orchids along the track edges for much of the year. Sadly the biomass of bracken is increasing due to innapropiate fire regimes.
Enjoy the walk no matter what length you choose to do.
