I always get disappointed when I find a log only cache way out in the stix. So I always try and palce another cache nearby, just to give that added bit of satisfaction.This is the "other" cache. A 2 litre Sistema that shouldn't hold any avid cacher back for long.
This one is situated at one of our local Quarries. Hence the name and yes caching pun intended (sorry).This little quarry assisted in paving many of the local roads in Old Bar, and also plenty of driveways. It is predominantly made up of what is called Ridge Gravel, a very brittle igneous material that easily shatters into tiny pieces when it is subjected to compressional force. There are however quite a few intrusions of other materials may keep a Geologist entertained for a little while. Sorry no FTF prize but quite a few swaps for the mini cachers amongst us. The area is very popular with both bikers and motor bikers as well as some extreme rivers so please be aware and watch out for muggles and all sorts of vehicles going sideways.
