À la fin du XIX e siècle et au début du XX e, de mai à octobre, Grande-Grave bourdonnait d'une activité intense. La plage de galets Hyman servait à étaler au soleil la morue salée pour la faire sécher plusieurs "soleils". Une page d'histoire à découvrir au magasin Hyman en présence des guides interprètes.

In the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, from May to October, Grande Grave bustled with activity. The Hyman pebble beach used to spread the salted cod in the sun to dry several "suns." A page of history to discover at the Hyman store.
