It should be an easy Park and grab with a short easy hike. It is near a pond in a county park. A nice little piece of greenery in a very congested area. I grew up in the area and always loved coming to county park. There is still so much to do here with the pond and the park. Come for the cache but stay for the park.
This cache is dedicated to my cousin Lawrence. He has a bench near the pond dedicated to him and I released this cache when the bench was to be dedicated. FTF may be there for the dedication. I will always remember him as Lawrence but alot of people knew him as Larry Stroff. Lawrence was my younger cousin and he loved to come to county park and fish here at the pond from when he was a little kid. If you see children fishing when you're there think of Lawrence. Lawrence loved the outdoors throughout his life. A life cut short by a fight with cancer for over 10 years. Lawrence struggled with the disease but never lost his love of life. He would hunt and fish and enjoy the outdoors as much as he could. Everyone who knew him would agree he was the epitome of the outdoorsman. I started the cache out with an old fishing lure. It's just something that reminded me of him. Hope you enjoy the cache and the park.
