A l'endroit dit du Vieux-Bourg de Languédias, là ou s'élevait jusqu'au 19e siècle l'église dédié à Saint Armel et pas loin du manoir de la Burie, ne subsite aujourd'hui que la fontaine de Saint Armel.
La légende dit qu'au 5e siècle le saint passa lors d'une sécheresse à Languédias. Il planta son baton en terre, pria, puis le retira. Aussitôt une eau claire jaillit et n'a pas cessé de couler jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Les mères amenaient leurs enfants en bas âge souffrants du mal de Sainte Radegonde ou de Saint Aragon – une maladie de peau, eczéma.
Le 15 août a lieu le traditionnel pardon de Saint Armel, patron de la commune.
