Geocache Description:

Cache is hidden in Barteliver Woods, and the path follows the river Fal for part of the walk.
Along the way are wooden posts with information about the wildlife and river management.
The path can be muddy at times, and part way along the path it becomes stoney but it is mostly flat. If you continue up the path after finding the cache, it becomes stoney from the Trewithen Estate private land area and the road.
Continuing up the road to the left, will take you toward Trewithen Gardens, or back to the main road if you turn right and follow Old Hill. Roads are narrow in parts and can be busy at times.

Parking is available in the car park next to the school and village hall. Access to the woods is on the left, just after the school playground and going over the bridge. There is a stile there or the gate currently is held close with rope.
