Geocache Description:

Alliance is sometimes called the Oasis in the Sandhills.  The beautiful park system runs north and south through the town.  A bike trail connects the parks and is used by bikes, walkers, joggers, strollers – lots of muggles.

This part of the park system lies between the Central Park and Laing Lake park. Central Park has open areas, playground equipment, shelter houses, and the beautiful Knight Museum, which celebrates the Sandhills. Laing Lake park features a skateboard area and disk golf course.

You are near the high school football field. To the south you'll find the Alliance Fountain and Sallows Military Museum. On the block north is the swimming pool, dog park, library, and football practice field.   The cache is placed near the bike trail. It’s a plastic container with items to trade. Please sign the log and enjoy the area!
