Geocache Description:

This is a letterbox cache at Hypoluxo Scrub.

The cache contains a homemade stamp..

The stamp, the log, and the stamp pad absolutely MUST stay with the cache.

As with my other letterboxing hybrid the GPS coordinates provided are correct - but you can follow the traditional letterboxing clues:

I received a visit from a nearly square little fellow last month. He said he'd like to see some of my favorite spots in Florida. I knew I wanted to take him for a walk in the scrub. I thought he'd also like to learn all about the barefoot mailman and climb up a tower where he could see a nice view.

One you get on the path walk till you get to the fork. You could go right but don't worry, you can't go wrong.

At this point you will see a covered set of benches. You might want to have a seat, you've got a little walk ahead of you.

See that yellow blazed trail? Let's see where I might have taken this visitor from CT. Follow the yellow trail 33 blazes.

Turn right and go east - look for a clearing and a sump.

Look to the right and you will see two burnt sable palms this little fellow is waiting for you between the two.

It is HOT and sunny in the scrub. Please bring sunblock, a hat, and water. this is about a 2 mile walk if you walk the whole loop (all the yellow blazes and the paved path that leads to them)
