SMALL HOME MADE NANO IN ITS OWN SHELL
I was born in Kitts Green, Birmingham,
For some years the legend persisted that my real name was Ulysses Adrian
But only Adrian is right which is my middle name His first group in Birmingham in the early 1960s was The Falcons, which he left in 1963 to join Gerry Levene and the Avengers. He then moved to Mike Sheridan and the Nightriders (the band later became The Idle Race). During this period, he attended the Moseley College of Art, from which he was expelled in 1964.[2]
He formed other groups before this one
The band made their live debut at a rock and roll festival at Wembley Stadium on 5 August 1972,[2] followed by an appearance at the Reading Festival later that month.
