Welcome to the Knox County Seat. Here our court house rests as well as a park, community center, church, and local UNL Extension office.
This geocache was inspiried by the American Dream. Our great great greats came to this country focused on better lives and visions of opporutnity for the future. What they found was an opportunity met with many challanges that requried dilligence, patience, and a lot of hard work. There soon became small towns sprining up all over the west what has now become known as the United States of America. Today we are facing a strange struggle. Our small towns are dying because the American Dream seems to be more sought after in larger cities. Small towns are struggling to hold on so we must support them and be proud of the towns and communiites that ultimalty build America.
The geocache container is reflective of the title, something recycled. Some artistic skill went into designing the look of this particular geocache. On the hunt for this geocache, take time to look at the years and years that have passed by this small town. Think about where it started and what its future looks like. When you find the cache, consider what the future will look like for the next generation. Have fun and enjoy this geocache!
