Wanderung von Kastelruth auf die Marinzen Alm
Wanderung zur Marinzenhütte unter dem Puflatsch auf 1490 m Meershöhe.
Die Marinzenalm befindet sich direkt oberhalb vom Kastelruth am Hang des Puflatschberges. Im Winter ist sie das Zentrum des Kastelruther Skigebiets mit der bekannten, nachts beleuchteten Piste, im Sommer zieht sie zahlreiche Ausflügler an.
Vom Dorfzentrum geht es Weg Nr. 6 entlang bis zum Freinademetz-Bildstöckl hinauf, und dort über grüne Wiesen der Nr. 4A entlang. Der Asphalt weicht einem steil ansteigenden Waldweg. Am Tusch-Hof vorbei, finden wir dann einen schön angelegten Promenadenweg, der sich den Berg hinauf schlängelt. Der letzte Abschnitt verläuft auf einem etwas steinigen Weg bis zur Almhütte Marinzen hinauf. Auf den Wiesen der Marinzenalm lässt sich die Sonne genießen, Kinder kommen auf dem Spielplatz voll auf ihre Kosten. Die Alm ist Ausgangspunkt verschiedener Wanderwege, z.B. über die Schafstall-Hütte auf den Puflatsch oder zu den Hexenstühlen, nach Kompatsch auf die Seiser Alm, nach Gstatsch und Bad Ratzes oderhalb von Seis.
Für den Rückweg beschließen wir, die Wege Nr. 11A und 4 bis ins Dorf hinunter zu nehmen, um ein paar schöne Ausblicke auf die Wiesen bei Seis und auf das Dorf Kastelruth zu bekommen. Insgesamt eine leichte Wanderung, die konstante Steigung verlangt aber doch ein bisschen Kondition. Wem das schon zu viel ist, der kann auch mit dem Marinzenlift das Ziel erreichen.

Escursione da Castelrotto all’Alpe di Marinzen
Un’escursione al Rif. Marinzen, ai piedi del monte Bullaccia a 1.490 m di altitudine.
L’Alpe di Marinzen si trova quasi direttamente sopra la località di Castelrotto, ai piedi del monte Bullaccia. Mentre d’inverno quest’alpe rappresenta il centro dell’area sciistica di Castelrotto, d’estate attira molti escursionisti.
Dal centro del paese il sentiero n° 6 ci porta fino al pilone votivo Freinademetz, da dove poi il percorso prosegue per prati verdi sul sentiero n° 4A. In ripida salita giungiamo alla baita Tusch, dove troviamo una bellissima passeggiata che si snoda fino in cima alla montagna. L’ultimo tratto prima di raggiungere il rifugio Marinzen rappresenta qualche difficoltà, dato che il sentiero é ripido e sassoso. Ma arrivati in cima si può infine rilassare sui grandi prati dell’Alpe di Marinzen, godendo i caldi raggi del sole che accarezzano la pelle. Ed anche i bambini si divertono nel parco giochi. L’Alpe è inoltre punto di partenza per innumerevoli escursioni in alta montagna, come per esempio alla Baita Schafstall sul monte Bullaccia o anche le cosiddette “Panche delle Streghe”.
Per la via di ritorno decidiamo di prendere il sentiero n° 11A che poi passa nel n° 4 per giungere nuovamente nel centro del paese. Su questo percorso si hanno delle stupende viste panoramiche sulle località di Siusi e Castelrotto.
In tutto questa escursione non rappresenta grandi difficoltà ed anche la salita non è troppo ripida. Ma comunque ci vuole un po’ di condizione fisica. E per chi la salita è troppo faticosa pu`anche salire sull’Alpe di Marinzen con la seggiovia.

Hiking tour from Castelrotto to the Marinzen alpine pasture
The Marinzen mountain hut lies at the foot of the Alpe di Siusi at 1,490 metres asl.
The Marinzen mountain hut lies on an alpine pasture above Castelrotto, at the foot of Mount Bullaccia (Alpe di Siusi). In summer it attracts a lot of hikers, while in winter many people come here to ski on the famous Marinzen ski slope, which runs down to Castelrotto.
From the centre of Castelrotto, we follow trail no. 6 until we reach a wayside shrine, where we branch off to trail no. 4A, leading across beautiful lush meadows. Passed the Tusch farm, a beautiful promenade trail leads quite steeply up the mountain. Arrived at the meadows of the Marinzen alpine pasture, we enjoy the warming sun, while the children have a lot of fun on the huge playing ground near the mountain hut. Marinzen ist the starting point of several beautiful hiking trails, leading for example to the Schafstall mountain hut, to Mount Bullaccia, Compaccio on the Alpe di Siusi or Bagni di Razzes near Siusi.
On our way back to Castelrotto we take trails no. 11A and 4, which offer very beautiful views of the meadows around Siusi and the village of Castelrotto. Altogether, this is an easy hiking tour requesting a decent physical condition. However, if you prefer, you can also take the Marinzen ski lift.
