WVSA 1380 AM has been on the air for almost 50 years. Its signal can be heard around Northwest Alabama and Northeast Mississippi. In 1991 owner Joel Camp expanded adding WJEC 106.5 FM. The 6,000 watt signal reaches a 70 mile radius of Lamar County. On January 1, 1996 WJEC began playing Southern Gospel 24 hours a day. In June of 1996, Dr. William Davis purchased the station from Joel Camp. Ten years later Glenn Crawford, the current Mayor of Vernon, purchased the station and is the current owner. One of the main programs is “Party Line” where locals buy and sell anything from live chickens to autos.You are looking for a camo bison tube. BYOP
