Acroynms are common place, and no matter you are into, every sport, hobby, association, work or religion has them. Geocaching is no exception, so this little series is dedicated to some of the more common acronyms that we used every time we fill out a log form.
BTW BYOP (By the way, bring your own pen). See what I mean!
LPC = LAMP POST CACHE
If you look at any particular lamp post, or street light, especially in parking areas, you will notice that they have a protective cover for the bolts. This is also useful for hiding a cache container. While I have not seen any of these LPC's in the Hawkes Bay, they were fairly common in North America where I have done the majority of my caching so far.
As this cache is placed in one of the busiet areas of Hastings, caution is a must, as there will be muggles galore. Timing will be everything here. Although the cache is placed out of the main area, please use stealth!
