in our disclaimer.
Park in Benmore Gardens car park, cross the bridge and turn right, follow road past the outdoor center till you see a track on your left, just before the house. You are now heading up towards A'Chruach.
Allan Wipper Wells MBE (born 3 May 1952) is a former Scottish and British multi title winning athlete. He became Olympic Champion in the 100 metres at the USA boycotted 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow.[1] Within a fortnight he took on and beat America's best sprinters at an invitational meeting in Koblenz. In 1981 Wells was both the Golden Sprints and World Cup gold medalist. He is also a three-time European Cup gold medalist among many other sprint successes The cache is on the way up to A'Chruach, (where there is also a cache) it is a small camo medicine tub (so remember to push down on lid while you twist it open). You will need to bring a pen or pencil as there is only room for a logbook, though I have squeezed in HAMISH TB. Please remember that the weather can change rapidly on the hills so wear the right clothing and footwear, also be on the lookout for sheep if you have dogs with you. The views at the top are amazing and weather permitting you can get great pictures. Hope you enjoy this walk as it is one of our favourite routes.
