Memorial Park
Memorial Park (the actual park, maybe not the cache) is easy to find. It's the landscaped triangle of trees and shrubbery surrounding a tall flagpole on the northwest corner at the intersection of Grove and Centennial. The 0.84-acre park was dedicated May 30, 1976. It includes a wall that bears the names of 26 Richardson residents who died in wars dating back to the Civil War.
A lack of convenient parking might make it difficult to visit though. One former park official called it a "drive-by park." Maybe that's why it has no seating areas.
This little cache is another log only so bring your own pen. You’re looking for a small cryogenic tube at the end of the sidewalk, no need to go back around anything, no PI, no thorns, kid friendly too! Happy caching!
Park across the street in the Woodhaven Grove Park or a nearby side street and enjoy a little stroll.
