Rising From the Embers Traditional Cache

Another significant Lawley Landmark. This cache takes you to what used to be the front entrance of the century old Mt Lawley Primary School. The school unfortunately burnt down in July 2012 (in its centennial year) and has been relocated to Mount Lawley Senior High School while the rebuild takes place.

There are no students at the site, and building will be underway until the start of 2015 when the school will re-open. We would like you to help us collect a photo record of the school’s rebuild, and then, when the school re-opens, and given its proximity to the school, we will remove the cache. We would love you to take a photo from the path next to the cache hide and then post it up so we can see the progress. Many thanks.

The cache is a mint tin. It contains a log and a pencil. Should be easy to find. Don’t forget your camera.
