Geocache Description:

This is a short series of Hides dedicated to those of you who don't mind a little dabble on the horses, or indeed, are just fond of magnificent thoroughbreds.

*** Welcome to ***
*** Leopardstown Racecourse ***

The series is similar to an actual horse race with caches placed to represent 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, etc.  You will start at one end of the racecourse and finish at the far end.

The entire series may (or may not) be deployed before each individual cache is published    So feel free to "search ahead"...

How many horses are in the race? Well all I can say is that the race is 12 furlongs long. And everyone knows the rules for Geocaching, right!?

THE HORSE
The 4th-placed horse is a spritely little gelding who loves to stick to the corner of the pack when racing. Unfortunately due to his small frame he is often "shut out" in the final sprint to the Finish Line - especially here at Leopardstown!  His regular jockey always wears green Silks. A lot of spectators(!) like to gather around this horse, so its Difficulty has been bumped up a notch.
