Geocache Description:

This is a short series of Hides dedicated to those of you who don't mind a little dabble on the horses, or indeed, are just fond of magnificent thoroughbreds.

*** Welcome to ***
*** Leopardstown Racecourse ***

The series is similar to an actual horse race with caches placed to represent 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, etc.  You will start at one end of the racecourse and finish at the far end.

The entire series may (or may not) be deployed before each individual cache is published    So feel free to "search ahead"...

How many horses are in the race? Well all I can say is that the race is 12 furlongs long. And everyone knows the rules for Geocaching, right!?

THE HORSE
The 5th-placed horse is a bit of an Ass (that's a donkey Ok!)
It is a small awkward gelding and overly heavy which makes for slow going. As a result, he likes to keep cool by staying out of the sun.  That said, this horse is a particular "Favourite" of its Owner... and is very similar in look to one of its half-brothers which has its stable in Blackrock.  This half-brother has been particularly successful when racing at Altitude!  Unfortunately this poor little Ass has only ever raced at sea-level. It's jockey typically wears argentine-coloured silks.
