I was on my second maintenance run here in three days, and when I finished, I thought that I might be able to fit a cache in here. After placing the cache, I was sitting in my car writing it up, with the air conditioning going full blast, when a police car pulled up. I couldn't really complain, because it's been a while since I've had an encounter with the local constabulary. The officer said, "Just to let you know, there's no parking here". I then asked him if he knew what geocaching was. When he said, "No", I explained in 25 words or less. Then a look of comprehension dawned on his face, and a light bulb lit up over his head. I told him that I had just placed a geocache, and that I'd go retrieve it. He then said, "Oh, no, no. People come here all the time. I'm sure it will be all right". So, I believe that I have the official imprimatur for this cache. Just park in the lot down by the trail.
The cache contains a log only. BYOP. No credit without your signature. Despite the imprimatur, I shouldn't come here at night.
