Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a small park along the water's edge of Lake Clarendon.

Lake Clarendon is a reservoir located 10 km North East of Gatton in the Lockyer Valley. The reservoir is one of a number of small dams built in the Lockyer Valley to supply water for irrigation.

Completed in 1992, by mid-2006 the dam was empty due to drought conditions in Australia.   In January 2011, the dam was over 80% full and as of cache hidden date 22/06/2013 it is sitting at 99.6% and is an amazing view.
