Description:
My wife and I have been geocaching for about two years and really enjoy the adventures we have taken while seeking the elusive cache. These adventures have taken us to places we would never have thought of going if not for geocaching. This includes areas of our home town that we never knew existed. As an example, we have been visiting Sonoma County’s Spring Lake Regional Park for over ten years and several weeks ago a new cache was posted and the search took us to a previously unknown location. This gave us an idea for this cache - We have noticed that most people travel the same route around the lake and do not leave the paved path. In the hope of changing this, we located this cache in an area of the park that is seldom visited by two footed animals.
