Geocache Description:

Welcome to Turkey Brook Park.

The last time I was here, the bottom section of the Purple Trail was still blocked by fallen trees from Superstorm Sandy. However, Chester Township has done an exemplary job in removing all of the debris . As you come down the Purple Trail (more like a gravel road) from the parking lot found on Cooper Lane, you will have to PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to see the trail head markings (3 Green Rectangles) for the Green Trail (Waypoint Below). They will be on your right-hand (west) side of the trail. While scrambling over the fallen trees, I discovered this trail, and went to see where it went, and looked to see whether I could squeeze a cache in the park somewhere. The coordinates will bring you very close to where the Red & Green Trails meet each other. Only a very small amount of bushwacking is needed to find this cache. You're looking for a large, camouflaged bison tube. BYOP please. Log only.

Also, in the fall, and early winter, hunting is allowed in this park. So please either wearing your blaze orange, or come look for this cache on Sundays. Be safe, and have a great time finding this cache! RD. Congratulations to swampland'r and Ragtime Fan on the FTF - almost to be expected
