Zoiszyte: Many thanks to everyone who sought out this cache and many thanks to those who picked up a travel bug to send it on its way! Our year long project for this cache is up and I decided to pull it in and see if the scouts wanted to place another cache while the travel bugs continue to move.

Two of the bugs have traveled to Europe and toured, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and one even ended up in Australia! (It was sent back to Germany to be redirected to Greece.)

Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a Girl Scout project to send out and track Travel Bugs as well as track traffic going through a cache. All of our travel bugs have been sent out! Thank you to everyone who has helped them move along!  
 

The Ten Mile Greenway is a fantastic walking trail through West Knoxville.  As a troop, we have used this trail for outdoor badges.  We have found animal tracks in the mud, played in the stream that runs through the area, and of course, picked up some geocaches here.  Enjoy the trail! 

Please only take on bug per geocacher.  If you are not familiar with Travel Bugs, please look over the “Trackables” tab on the Geocache website. All the bugs have been logged into the Groundspeak system so please help them reach their desired destinations.  We will be keeping watch over the next year to see where the bugs end up.  A part of Girl Scouting means being responsible for what we say and do, so if you cannot help a bug move along, please return it to the cache so someone else can.

As Girl Scouts (the same applies to geocachers!) we believe in leaving a place in better shape than we found it.  Please pick up any trash and help keep the greenway clean!  Cache in, trash out! First to Find goes to both Ol'Fogies and Trekkies*!
