How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Small cammo'd pill bottle. Is secured pretty well so please be careful not to wrestle with the container too much. Should only have to remove lid to retrieve log. Has log and coupon for FREE Route 44 from Sonic. Use stealth. In a high-traffic area.

This is a small series of caches thought up by our Big Little. He not only came up with the idea all by himself but decided where each cache should be placed and why. There are EIGHT caches in the series and each cache has a coupon for a free item from The McElyeas' favorite pit-stop for FTF.

This was originally a prize series with a little challenge involved; but since we've already awarded a prize to the first to figure out the series theme and individual cache themes, we decided (with the awesome help of GZHunter) to continue this series with a final puzzle cache.

Now, cachers first need to find each of the individual seven numbered caches and figure out both Big Little's overall "theme" and *why* each cache was specifically placed where it was placed. Once you've completed all seven numbered caches and think you know the overall theme, then head to our SE7EN Series Puzzle Cache to find the final location for the final cache.

REMEMBER: when you find each cache, pay close attention to where it was placed (look for nearby street signs, company names or logos, or think of the general purpose of the location itself) to give you a clue as to why that specific cache was placed there. GPS was broken so coordinates were placed averaging Google and Bing maps so if they are slightly off, we apologize ahead of time. Most are in the "obvious" hiding places anyway.

****************************************************CONGRATS TO GZHUNTER FOR BEING THE FIRST TO SOLVE THE CHALLENGE! WE'LL BE SENDING HIM HIS PRIZE SOON! AND AN EXTRA SPECIAL THANKS TO HIM FOR GIVING US THE IDEA TO END THIS SERIES WITH A PUZZLE CACHE! **********************************************************
