Geocache Description:

This is the second cache in the Owl King Series.

Humans have regarded Owls as symbols of intelligence, education, and wisdom for centuries.  The phrase “wise as an owl” has been used to denote people who demonstrate unusually high levels of wisdom.  Among the Owls however, the title “Owl King” is used to set apart those Owls who demonstrate extraordinary levels of wisdom.  Three   Owl Kings have chosen Lake Gordonsville, for its quiet beauty, to meditate on the problems of our day.  Each of the three Owl Kings is more reclusive than his predecessor.  Finding the second Owl King will be a harder task.  His love for old trees, and the squirrel and chipmunk that play around them, has made him the second easiest Owl King to find.
