****Congrats to Jungle Janie for FTF!****At Day Pond State Park, open dawn to dusk. Best parking for this cache is near the northern end of the pond. Take the Salmon River Trail (North Loop) and cross the power lines to reach the cache, about 3/4 mile round trip. No steep climbs; easy to follow trail.
Welcome to Day Pond State Park, one of my favorite places to visit in CT. This cache was placed for the CT 7000 celebration day and designed to stretch your legs a bit. You are looking for a small lock and lock with a few goodies inside. Enjoy!
