While doing maintenance on another cache on this trail my grandson expressed interest in hiding another cache. We had been enjoying some of the biggest and juiciest salmonberries I have ever seen hence the cache name.
The Kay Dubois Trail extends from Smiths Road to Sutil Road, and the beach may also be accessed from Petroglyph Road. There are several caches on the Kay Dubois Trail and if accessing the trail from Sutil Road please note that there is an elevation change that involves several switchbacks on a narrow and sometimes slippery slope.
