The Forgotten Footbridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

FireflyAfrica: I came to check on this one after the DNF and found that vandals have stolen the whole metal railing on this side of the footbridge. Do I find a new spot or just archive? The cache hasn't been found in over a year and the spot is a little isolated and not the best with vagrants living nearby so decided to rather just let this one go.

Geocache Description:

This should be a quick park and grab cache in close proximity to the South End Cemetery.  The cache is hidden by the old footbridge over the narrow guage railway line.  The line isn't in use anymore although there are hopes that the Apple Express steam train may be back on track at some stage in the future.

Back in the days of old South End this was a popular walkway across the PE to Avontuur narrow gauge railway line and is still used as a short cut between South End and a section of Walmer and the airport.

FTF goes to Mixs who crossed the cemetery in the dark to get there
