Welcome to the 2013 Tualatin Geocoin Challenge

Brought to you by the City Of Tualatin. Come and join Tualatin in celebrating their Centennial. The Challenge will begin at the published event coordinates on August 3, 2013 at 9:00 am as a social gathering for cachers who would like to have a meet and greet to know other cachers. It will give you a chance to ask any questions. You will be able to print a form for the Coin Challenge soon from this page and from all the caches that are published on opening day of the challenge. To receive your 2013 Tualatin Area Collector’s geocoin on any other day, return the completed registration card to Juanita Pohl Center, 8513 SW Tualatin Rd Tualatin, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. If you are unable to get to the redemption sites during regular business hours, please give your card to another geocacher to claim your coin as we will be unable to mail your coin to you. To receive your geocoin on Saturday August 3rd & Sunday August 4th go to The Tualatin Public Library at 18878 SW. Martinazzi Ave. Tualatin. The Library hours are Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm & Sunday 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The main page for any notifications will be GC4FERC. These are the kind of events that newer cachers might be able to hook-up with an older cacher for a day tour of the new caches, don't be shy.

What is Geocaching?

(click beside)

Simply it is typically called a treasure hunt but for the sport's hunter, we're known as a "Cacher". We are trying to find some kind of container with a log book and swag. The container is know as a "Cache" and you can learn about that from the link on this page.
