This cache is part of the River Trail Cache Series hidden in Wings section of South Branch Reservation. Alternatively you can use the official Hunterdon Count Parks map. All caches in this series are hidden close to trail and are meant to be easily found.
Is it an island or is it a peninsula? I guess both, depending on the water level in the river. Pay close attention to the trail, especially the sandy parts and you may discover tiny shells – a clear sign that the trail may be under water at times.
