Geocache Description:

The question of what makes people happy has been discussed and pursued since ancient times, and its pursuit has even been guaranteed by our forefathers in the U.S. Constitution.  Despite happiness' long history of importance and its assurance by our political foundations, few of us truly appreciate just how we can increase our happiness or understand how to go about doing it. Why are some people happier than others? And how can we achieve happiness?

First, it's important to understand that some people are naturally happy. Although the exact level will vary from individual to individual, it appears that up to about 50 percent of our happiness levels are preset by genetics or our environment (called our happiness set-point). But that’s good, because it also means that about 40 to 50 percent of our happiness is within our power to raise or lower. In the following series of caches, each cache will focus on a specific idea to living a happier life.

To unlock this key of happiness, you are looking for a cow. The cow is originally from Milkwaukee, and he went through a period in his life where he was udderly upset and very moody. He tried many different things in an effort to change his roller cowster  of emotions: he went to moovies for an escape, he put lots of mooney into the stock-market, and he even tried switching to decalfeinated cowfee. Despite all these efforts, happiness still eluded the cow, and he felt like an udder failure. This feeling of failure cowtinued until one day while reading the Rhinelander Daily Moos he saw an advertisement for Mud Lake Trails in Rhinelander. He had herd from udders in his field of work that the trails consist of eight miles of beautiful moontain biking trails. So instead of waiting for bovine intervention to bring him happiness, he decided to take control of his life by mooving to Mud Lake and milking the experience for all it was worth. It was on the shores of Mud Lake that he finally encownterd an important key to happiness. If you find him, he is willing to steer you in the direction to your own happiness.
Good luck and remember: Money can’t buy you love, but cache can bring you happiness.
