Geocache Description:

[ENG] Voltvet manor was established in 1601, the two-storey Late-Classicist main building was completed in 1830. It now houses a vocational school. For the latter purpose the building was reconstructed into a three-storey one and, it also got a number of annexes.
 

A couple of kilometres from the centre of the estate, there is the family cemetery – ravaged though – of von Stryks, one of the owners. By the highway there is the longest barrel house in Estonia.

[EST] Voltveti mõisa kohta on esimesi teateid 1563. aastast. Mõisa hilis-klassitsistlikus stiilis härrastemaja valmis 1830 ja seda ilmestab nelja toskaana sambaga portikus laia trepiga. 1925. aastal alustas majas tegevust Voltveti metsakool, praegune Pärnumaa Kutsehariduskeskuse Tihemetsa õppekoht. Hoonele ehitati juurde kolmas korrus ja tiibhoone. See on hoone tervikpilti ja elegantsi oluliselt vähendanud, kuid omal ajal üks Pärnumaa esinduslikum mõisahoone tasub kindlasti üle vaadata! Mõisa ümbritseb park, milles on 150 erinevat liiki puid ja nende hulgas leidub palju haruldasi liike.

Aarde leidmiseks pole vaja haarata labida järgi. Mugavalt lakk kingades või lapse vankriga nulli. Ilusat aardeotsimist :)
