CYA-The Big Unit Traditional Cache
Livingtoplay: I rarely ever get down this way without a special trip so I've decided to archive this. I offered it up for adoption but had no respondents. Goodbye to the Big Unit. I have good memories of the many group hunting efforts I enjoyed in order to find it.

CYA sereis continues with one of the largest caches ever made or is it? See if you can figure out whom this hurler is that finished off a great carreer by starting it out like a bit in the Jungle. For Kids saftey and looking for the cache, due to the closness of the HWy, staying on the street side of the rail is best. Should you move over it is not frowned upon, but you could make things more difficult. Be careful of the Big Unit might get you!!!!
Randy Johnson, AKA The Big Unit, standing a meanicing 6-10 on the mound throwing fire from his arm. He could throw so fast it could kill. Don't beleive me. Youtube it. He once caught a one hop smash of the bat of Prince Fielder with his bare hands(present and accounted for with my wife to see that) and made the out without as so much as his normal staredown. 5 time Cy young award winner. He would eat hitters for breakfast and snack on shoutouts for his afternoon snack. You want this cache, you are going to have to earn it. Beware of the The Big unit might just get you after all. Accomplishments: Johnson throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Seattle Mariners home opener at Safeco Field in 2010 Triple Crown winner (2002) Pitched a no-hitter for Seattle on June 2, 1990, against Detroit 10-time All-Star (1990, 1993–95, 1997, 1999, 2000–02, 2004) Led the league in strikeouts nine times (1992–95, 1999–2002, 2004) Led the league in ERA four times (1995, 1999, 2001, 2002) 5 time Cy Young Award winner (1995, 1999–2002) Holds the record for most strikeouts in a relief appearance (16 against San Diego on July 18, 2001) World Series co-MVP (Curt Schilling, 2001) Pitched a perfect game against Atlanta (May 18, 2004)- oldest pitcher to do so in major-league history Collected his 300th win in a 5–1 victory against the Washington Nationals on June 4, 2009 Sports Illustrated MLB All-Decade Team (2009) Has defeated every major-league team at least once Struck out 20 batters on May 8, 2001 against Cincinnati Reds 4,875 strikeouts, most all time for lefthanded pitcher; 2nd most ever (Nolan Ryan, 5,714) Named to the Mariners Hall of Fame Pitched an immaculate inning (Aug 23, 2001) At the time, only the 30th pitcher in Major League history to do so Hit and killed a bird with a fastball during a Spring Training game in 2001
