Geocache Description:

Should be a quick find is a great part of town. The road is now open all the way into the park so you can go up to the river once you find the cache. Bring Something to write with! A shiny quarter awaits the FTF!

It is just heartbreaking to see the devestation the flood of 2011 brought to the park. You once could barely see the campground because the trees were so thick and now most of them have had to be cut away. Hayworth will ALWAYS be part of Bellevue's identity as a city and it is worth the time, effort, and trouble to rebuild it.

My son plays baseball here and we were going to hide a Mr Magneto-type nano, but the bleachers are aluminum or some other metal and wouldn't stick. We switch to a micro and hid it elsewhere. The park closes at 10pm.

Good Luck, and May the GeoForce be With You!

Congratulations to da_ewoks for not only being the first to find.... but being the first to find with the crappy original coordinates! Way to go and thanks for the help on the correct Lat/Lon
