Hidden in plain sight - SMILEY Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

AirEd: Time to put the series to bed.
I have decided to put the series to bed rather than recycle or refresh.
Thanks for all those who found and logged the cache. This one was in plain sight the whole time and never went missing. The scramble up to it varied with the years and seasons. Managed not to end up in the canal this time

Geocache Description:

SMILEY - Solve, Map, Input, Look, Enjoy Yourself
I hope this gives you a big smiley!

I have just completed 500 mystery finds so to celebrate this I have created a few puzzles

The majority are along the canals and footpaths with a some on roads.

There will be more information in the geocheckers with regard to parking, any special equipment, care, styles, animals or route points.

Some of the caches could be multis as well as puzzles

Hidden In Plain Sight

To find the co-ordinates you will have to look at listing. All is on the page.

There are neither codes nor the keys required to flush out the numbers. If i’ve not made an error it should be fairly straight forward. If I have that would have been a pity. I have done the error checking to see if the solution can be seen in executing this puzzle.

The cache is on a path that won’t be too hard as the only styles can easily be or gone round. In the geochecker there will be more route and parking info. Urgent requests for assistance in solving the puzzle will be considered once it has been found.

I took several new estimates to get the coordinates. None of these agreed with each other so I have averaged them and it ought to be enough to zoom in. I hope the effort has avoided you having to need to widen your search area. if our readings have been accurate. The picture on the geochecker should mean you don’t work too hard in finding the cache.

The cache is a small clip top box with some of our collected swaps.

The ramblings are nearly at and end so what should the difficulty rating be? It is not a max or “six” as the cricketers would say so if I weigh the pros and cons I think it is a harder puzzle.

Alternate Geochecker it first one is unavailable. You will get a yes or no but none of the other info (loop/type of box/parking etc)GeoChecker.com.
