I was walkin' through the park one day ...
Snagging or revisiting the several caches in this part of the park, and came across this memorial and figured, hey, why not? It's slightly off the beaten track, and the location offers a pretty nice view.
To claim this find, e-mail me the answers to the following questions:
What does this commemorate?
When was it erected, and by whom?
Who was the artist, and what were his dates?
The answers for the first two questions will be found on the memorial proper. The answers to the third question will be found on a sign in a garden downhill from the front of the memorial.
