Since I prefer to challenge my fellow cachers to complete challenges that I have already done or I am willing to embark on here comes this easy cache that may require some traveling if you are a local in the KC area. Anyways to obtain the smiley on this cache upon accepting the challenge you will just need to have your photo taken on ten webcam caches anywhere in the world.
We have a couple challenges in the city I think that challenge us to find all the webcam and virtual caches in both states of Kansas and Missouri. They are the MO - MOKan Challenge: Virtually Watching You (GC263Z0) and the KS - MOKan Challenge: Virtually Watching You (GC263Z0). This one is on the Kansas side and will join the list of other challenges on Kansas that basically sends any cacher out to search for webcam caches.
It took me about three years to be able to collect ten webcams. I finally reached that number of finds on this rare almost extinct type of cache a few months ago on one my of my last trips to Florida. I was able to snatch two webcam caches that still work in the city. I am sure that out there we have a bunch of very well traveled more experienced cachers that already have the stats, and we also have a bunch of enthusiastic cachers like myself that this cache will help them on the hunt for elusive unique types of caches.
The challenge is retro active which means you can use webcams that you already found towards the minimum of ten caches. Webcams are dying slowly so if you have any archived webcam on your stats you can use it. If you are short of the ten required webcams I know Kansas has only two still active ones. This challenge will definitively require you and your crew to travel a little bit. That is why the difficulty level is a bit high.
The container is hidden at the cache's posted coordinates. So no cracking the code to figure out where the cache hides. The cache container could be a bit of a challenge. For some it will be just a park and grab to sign the log. For others it can really turn the search into a fun hunt. So although it is not a high terrain difficulty I did not categorize it as a low one either. Let me know what you think of the container once you find it.
