Warrior Dash - Gladiators Traditional Cache

Bring your own writing utensil to the cache.  Wearing of boots recommended along with bug spray.  Located on state gamelands so dress accordingly.  You will get muddy, dirty and sweaty finding all the caches in this series.

Professionally trained fighters, gladiators took part in public combats, called “games”, often, to the death.  These deadly contests thrilled spectators all over the Roman Empire.  Gladiators were usually prisoners of war, criminals, or slaves.  They were expected to fight 2 or 3 times a year, and could be discharged if they survived for up to five years.
