A mounted warrior clad in chain mail or heavy plate armor, the Knight fought mainly on horseback with a ten foot long lance. When he was on foot he fought with a long sword, mace or ax. A knight was a noble. His career started as a child, serving as a page in his father's household. Later, at about the age of seven, he would go and live with another noble who would teach him the arts of warfare. Chivalry was the knight's, Code of Honor.
