Pan314159: I've been thinking a lot about this cache in the last few weeks, and I'm afraid I've decided to Archive it.

I went out to replace the log/container a couple of times, and both times found that I couldn't due to the rubbish that had built up. At the time when I first hid it, this cache was a nice little hiding spot near some shops, from where you could see the trains. It's now turned into exactly the kind of horrible dirty place that I hate finding cahches, so that's why I'm Archiving it.

Thank you very much to everyone that came to find this cache in the past.

About SideTracked Caches

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website.

About SideTracked - Chingford Station

This station in the North of Chingford is a great starting point for journeys into Epping Forest. There's a high street with some nice cafes and shops, and some great walking routes into the forest (with other nearby caches to collect).

Chingford's first station opened just down the road in 1873, and then moved to the current site in 1878, to act as a gateway to Epping Forest. In 1882 none other than Queen Victoria herself came by train to Chingford and declared the forest open to the public forever.

The Cache

This cache is a 35mm black film pot. Bring a pen or pencil to sign the log.

PLEASE return the cache to exactly the same place it was found.

Usually a quiet spot, but be aware of a large number of muggles passing by for a few minutes after a train arrives (especially at rush hour).

Congratulations to geekyninja for the FTF!
