Geocache Description:

The Virginia opossum is the only marsupial found in North America north of Mexico. A solitary and nocturnal animal is a successful opportunist. It is familiar to many North Americans as it is often seen near towns, rummaging through garbage cans. Opossums are omnivorous and eat a wide range of plants and animals such as fruits, insects, other small animals, and snakes.

Just off of a hiking/biking trail. Not much shade on some of the trails. Be sure to bring plenty of water. You may get wet feet and bug spray is recommended depending on the season.
