Geocache Description:

This is the second in a new series of caches in and around any kind of venue where a form of golf can be played.
 

You are looking for a micro container that contains, and only has room for, a log book so you will need to bring something to write with and maybe something to help remove the log book from the container..

Farnham Park Par 3 is situated just off the hill which runs down into Farnham and is signposted as a par 3 pay & play but the course exceeds these lowly expectations and is a real pleasure to play.

Once you stand on the first tee you realise this is more than your average pitch & putt as you are faced with a raised tee playing across the valley to a raised green guarded by a large bunker.

The holes range from 100yds to 170yds and the course is kept in excellent condition with well maintained fairways and very good greens

The 9th hole is particularly noteworthy as it is 170yds over the valley to a raised green framed by giant trees and would not look out of place on a proper championship course.

A great example of a par 3 course and ideal for beginners and more experienced golfers alike.
