Hometown Heroes

I placed this cache on the Fourth of July, 2013, in the City of Forest Hill's new Memorial Park. According to the city's web page:

The Forest Hill Memorial Park is open to every citizen in the United States to honor the military service contributions of the men and women of our armed forces as well as remember Forest Hill Public Safety Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

It is also a place to host multicultural festivities. Situated in the DFW Metroplex, the Memorial Park includes the engraved names of men and women who served in all branches of the US military (or who are currently serving) on monument panels; a monument honoring POW/MIA service members; and a monument honoring Forest Hill Public Safety Officers.

At the posted coordinates you will find an American flag and, behind it, the flags of the five branches of the U.S. armed forces.

To find the coordinates of the cache container, number the military flags 1 through 5 from left to right, then add the following numbers to those flag numbers:

A = + 2

B = + 2

C = + 1

D =+ 3

E = + 5

The cache is located at:

N 32° 39.ABB
W 97° 15.CDE

Small FTF Prize.

Park hours: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, per city's web page. Often open much later.

Congratulations to JMAN02and JJLJ2010 for First-to-Find!
