After hiking for about 1 1/2 miles the trail levels out on a bench above the river. When you find a campsite you will be close.
I had a hard time with the coordinates at this site. They are not accurate. The cache is a large plastic jar and not very well hidden which should make the search easier. There is an excellent swimming hole a couple hundred yards upstream from the site. Bring your suit! The contents of the cache are; 2 pencils, 1 pen, a novel, ski wax, 1 candle, a book of matches, 1 shot glass, an environmental button, and one travel bug (my first).
