You are looking for a decon container hidden near a view of part of the Powerhouse Fire.
TSPI and I drove Lake Hughes road to check on our caches after the Powerhouse Fire. Some of our caches survived and some of them didn't. We found a very melted TB in one cache and in another we found a note from a fireman, Rio Bravo HS. We don't know who he is but he left the note in our cache called The Cache Down Under. When we looked for The Cache Down Under it was obvious that the fire had hit the little creekbed where the cache was hidden, but the cache was not too close to the trees and so it survived. We hid this cache to thank Rio Bravo HS for taking care of our little geocache while he was battling the flames. We hid this cache within the fire zone and we chose this spot because if you find the cache and walk through the culvert you will see a wide view of the firezone and see a little piece of the area the firemen worked. We hope this time next year the finders of this cache will walk through the culvert and see a green hillside.
