This Cache is another showing the magnificent coastline around Tura Beach, it’s situated between “Down at Tura Beach” in the south and “Head to the Headland” in the north. Ideal for whale watching as they round the headland September -November on their Southern journey
This Cache is another showing the magnificent coastline around Tura Beach, it’s situated between “Down at Tura Beach” in the south and “Head to the Headland” in the north. The cache is a small sistema container able to hold small swaps This cache has a seat overlooking the North end of Tura Beach where you can enjoy a drink and a snack whilst looking for whales in season (sept – Nov) or dolphins any other time, the surf can be quite spectacular when the waves and swell are up. The cache can accessed from Headland Drive (S36’ 51.222” E149’ 56.184) Down the signposted Coastal Walk.. It is 440 Metres down a pleasant bush track to the cache and a seat, there are then steps down to the beach. (note:- to access Head to the Headland you will have to return to Headland Drive and travel a short distance North to access the Headland Track)
