Geocache Description:

A traditional cache in the New Forest.

The cache was placed to mark our first wedding anniversary and as time goes by will form the first of a series. This cache can be reached from a number of car parks in the area, we chose to walk here from Hincheslea Moor because we've often taken our fish and chips up there and enjoyed the view but a shorter a walk could be done from Whitemoor, or for a longer walk you could combine this with a trip to Triple Bog Challenge - the walk between the two being a particularly lovely one on a nice day, teeming with interesting flora and fauna. A word of caution: following any rain this area will be muddy and in particularly bad weather may be inaccessible. As this cache was placed to celebrate our Paper anniversary we have filled it with some origami swaps and we'd be thrilled if you continued this theme when you visit. This cache is on Forestry Commission land and has been placed in accordance with the GAGB - Forestry Commission Agreement. As part of this Agreement, it is not permitted to seek the cache during the hours of darkness. The cache is a small, pre-labelled plastic lock box, by groundspeak. I have looked to find the volume but I can't see it, itis their standard small size though.
