Ein Hügel eher, doch trotzdem hoch genug, um von hier aus einen Blick werfen auf eine Landschaft, die wie direkt aus Tolkiens Herrn der Ringe oder dem Hobbit zu stammen scheint: das Auenland.

More of a hill really, but still high enough to give a good view onto a landscape that seems to have sprung directly from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit: the Shire. 

Mit etwas unter 100 metern ist der Spitzberg die höchste Erhebung in der Umgebung und hat damit gerade noch so die Bezeichnung "Berg" verdient. Besonders wegen des Blickes auf die wunderschöne Hügellandschaft und den nahen Sabinensee lohnt sich der Weg nach oben, und nun kan man dann nebenbei also auch noch einen Cache loggen.

Hier handelt es sich um ein Naturschutzgebiet und der Cache liegt an einem offiziellen Pfad.

Dies ist der erste Cache von ravencoat, und wir hoffen, ihr habt viel Freude an dieser Aussicht!

With something just below 100 metres the Spitzberg, the "pointy mountain", is the highest rise in this area and therefore just barely justifies the term "mountain". The ascent is worth it, especially because of the beautiful view over this landscapes of soft hills and the nearby Sabinensee. And as a small addition you can now even log a cache along the way!

This is a nature reserve and the cache itself is hidden along an official path.

This is ravencoat's first cache and we really hope you will enjoy the view!
