The area lies just southeast of the Boars Head Nature Preserve. The Nature Preserve consists of 65 acres in Millidgeville and is protected by the New Brunswick Nature Trust.
Lying along the perimeter of the Boars Head Nature Preserve, finding this cache will give you a taste of this ecosystem. The land is wet, with surface water running between rocks to underground springs. Many decidous trees stand dead and rotting but provide life to birds and insects. Explore with your pup, but have him/her close by your side as wildlife will be distracting. Bring your own writing stick
