Geocache Description:

When anyone thinks about hiding a geocache, where is the first place you would typically think to hide one? AT THE TOP OF A MOUNTAIN!!!

While this is no Everest or K-2, where else can urban, New York City geocachers say they climbed a mountain to retrieve a cache while still being close to home? We sure as hell don't know where else! LoL. So, enjoy this little adventure up Mount Washayaballs! :P

With the recent archiving of the previous geocache that was in this spot "Moses" (GC41XW9), Team Washayaballs immediately jumped at the opportunity to place one of our homemade caches at the top of this little urban gem! The mountain has two trails to the top: The easy one, which is about a 45-minute hike on a trail which loops up the mountain to the top; is about a 2-star difficulty due to the flat, yet sometimes muddy terrain. The hard one, a.k.a. the fun one, is a steep, 4-star difficulty; yet is still a climbable trail directly up the side of the mountain to the top. As opposed to the easy trail, this will take you only about 10 minutes to get to the top. When traversing down the mountain, we ALWAYS recommend using the easy trail for safety and to taking in some nice scenic views. The cache itself is a homemade, medium-sized cache, which really "defines" who we are. LoL. As always, our cache will contain one of our signature ducks! Please leave our little duck friend in the cache for all to find and love! :) QUACK QUACK!
